We had a fantastic 2 days exploring the wonders of Istanbul with our guide Goktug. We have used guides in several cities around the world and most are knowledgeable about their territory. However, an excellent guide will do more than simply recite facts and figures. They will try understand what you are interested in, what you don’t want to do, help with practicalities like transport, shopping, medicines, food options etc. This makes for a much more tailored experience, and this is what we received over our 2 days with Goktug.
