Friends at an American Embassy recommended Turkland Travel when we were looking for a guide in Istanbul. Since we stayed in Sultanahmet, we could have walked to all the top attractions with our own map but it was wonderful having a guide to lead us through the streets, help us skip some lines, visit local restaurants (rather than tourist places), explain the historical and cultural significance of what we were seeing, and arrange a private 2 hour sunset Bosphorus tour. We loved Ozden, our extraordinary guide for 2 days and conoisseur of all things Turkish, and we highly recommend their services.
